In July ‘24 we worked with Robb Report at our ‘unofficial’ highlands office, Dun Aluinn, to capture the highlands leg of the 2024 Robb Report ‘Car of the Year’ event. The Robb Report ‘Car of the Year’ is an annual recognition of the most exceptional automobile, chosen for its performance, design, technology, and overall driving experience. The winning car is selected after rigorous evaluation by a panel of automotive experts, who assess everything from luxury features to innovation and pure driving experience.

The lucky members of Robb Report’s exclusive ‘RR1’ club, had the opportunity to experience the shortlisted cars for this award, in no place better than the Scottish Highlands.

The cars featured in the Highlands leg of this event consisted of a 50:50 Aston Martin-Bentley ratio; including the new V12 DBS Superleggera, which resulted in a symphony echoing through the picturesque valleys, and a convoy to get even the detractor’s excited.

Amongst other treats, RR1 guests enjoyed whisky tasting at Glenturret, followed by an intimate candlelit BBQ by Ballintaggart Farm, and traditional Scottish music in the Dun Aluinn gardens.
