KNATCHBULL:

Savile Row's first and only shopfront exclusively for women.

True Bespoke for Women

Knatchbull Savile Row holds an important position within British tailoring as a house dedicated to women’s bespoke on Savile Row. In a setting historically shaped by men’s tailoring, the brand has helped define what a modern bespoke experience for women can look and feel like – bringing the same level of craftsmanship, precision and personal service to a female client, while building a distinct identity of its own. That position gave this project a clear purpose: to create a body of imagery that could communicate not only the quality of the finished garments, but the value, depth and individuality of the bespoke process behind them.

For Adesso Partners, the objective was to produce a full photography set that would help translate that process for Knatchbull’s audience. Women’s bespoke is deeply personal, but for many clients it can also feel unfamiliar. The work therefore needed to do more than present the brand in a polished way – it needed to make the experience visible. Our approach focused on showing the stages, details and interactions that define bespoke tailoring, helping customers understand what they can expect from the journey and why that journey matters.

Storytelling played an important role in achieving this. Rather than isolating the garment from the experience that creates it, we built the imagery around the process itself – consultation, cloth selection, fittings, adjustments and final refinement. By capturing these moments with clarity and consistency, the photography gives shape to the service behind the product. It positions bespoke not as something abstract or exclusive, but as a considered, collaborative process grounded in expertise and care.

Our role was to shape and produce a complete photographic set that could communicate this clearly while remaining aligned with the brand’s elevated identity. Every visual decision was made with that goal in mind – from the environment and composition to the lighting, styling and pacing of the shoot. The aim was to create imagery with a timeless, filmic quality that reflected the heritage of Savile Row, while keeping the focus on the experience of the client and the craftsmanship involved at each stage. It shows the garments in context, but also draws attention to the human elements that define bespoke – conversation, measurement, movement, touch and adjustment.

This was especially important for a brand working in a category that still requires explanation for many clients. Women’s bespoke is not simply about fit or luxury alone – it is about creating something individually shaped around the wearer. The photography needed to express that clearly, helping potential customers see themselves within the process rather than only looking at its outcome. In this sense, the project became a tool for communication as much as image-making: a way of bringing clarity to the brand proposition and building confidence in the service itself.

The resulting body of work gives Knatchbull Savile Row a strong visual foundation for telling that story. It captures the authority and quality of the brand, while also serving a more practical purpose – showing its audience what women’s bespoke means, how it works, and what makes the experience distinctive. For Adesso Partners, the project was about creating imagery that could do both: elevate the brand and communicate its process with precision.
